Is your startup idea ready to test?

Seven yes or no questions about the basics: the problem, who pays, whether you can reach them, what they use now, proof they will pay, whether you can build a first version, and how people will find you. You get a readout and a list of gaps to fix. It takes about two minutes. Nothing is stored or sent.

This is a self-check, not a prediction. No quiz can tell you whether a startup will succeed. It shows where your idea still rests on guesses.

Seven questions

1. Can you name a specific person who has this problem and has told you it costs them time or money?
2. Do you know exactly who would pay, by job title or type of customer?
3. Could you get 20 of those customers on a call or in a message within two weeks?
4. Do you know what they use today instead, including spreadsheets or doing nothing?
5. Has anyone paid, pre-ordered, signed a letter of intent or agreed to a paid pilot?
6. Could you build or fake a first version in the next 30 days, alone or with your team?
7. Do you have one channel that has brought you real users or signups before?
