Call forwarding codes by carrier

To send calls you miss to an answering service, voicemail line, or AI agent, use conditional forwarding. Your phone still rings first. Only calls you don't pick up, decline, or miss while on another call get forwarded.

Pick a carrier to see the exact code to dial.

CarrierForward missed callsForward every callTurn off
Verizon*71 + 10-digit number*72 + 10-digit number*73
AT&T**004* + 10-digit number + #**21* + 10-digit number + ###004# (missed calls) or #21# (all calls)
T-Mobile**004* + 10-digit number + # (or **61*, **67*, **62* for no answer, busy, unreachable)**21* + 10-digit number + ###004# (missed calls) or ##21# (all calls)
  • Verizon. Verizon publishes these codes on its call forwarding page. *71 forwards when you are busy or don't answer.
  • AT&T. AT&T uses standard GSM codes. You can also set forwarding in your phone settings (on iPhone, Settings, Phone, Call Forwarding, which forwards all calls).
  • T-Mobile. Some T-Mobile help pages show a 1 before the 10-digit number, for example **61*1NUMBER#.
  • Dial the code from the phone you want to forward, then press call. You should hear a tone or see a confirmation on screen.
  • Prepaid plans, MVNOs that run on these networks, business lines, and landlines can use different codes. If a code fails, check with your carrier.

If you forward missed calls to Alpha Tax, an AI agent answers in your business name, takes the job details, and texts you to confirm each booking. See how it works.
